Chocolate chip cookies are really a dessert staple. You can’t beat a good chocolate chip cookie. Nabisco has mastered the mass production of chocolate chip cookies thanks to Chip Ahoy!, which is a package of three rows of cookies available in any cookie aisle in any grocery store nationwide.
The familiar blue packaging of Chips Ahoy! is easy to spot, and despite being a good chocolate chip cookie, Chips Ahoy! is also incredibly versatile. In the past, the brand has collaborated with other flavors to bring us unimaginable cookie options that were both brilliant and delicious.
Now, Chips Ahoy! is introducing another flavor collaborating that mixes both the sour and sweet flavors of chocolate chips and sour gummy candy. Their newest product is a limited edition Chips Ahoy! Sour Patch Kids cookie!
The limited-edition Chips Ahoy! Sour Patch Kids cookies will be available in all major grocery store chains and major retailers like Target and Walmart by May. The best part is that these new sour cookies will also be affordable and they have a retail price of just three dollars a package.
It’s unclear just how long these sour cookies will be available on stores shelves or whether they will stick around or be re-released in the future, as that depends on their popularity. However, Chips Ahoy! Reeses Pieces and Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s were also well received by the public.
The most unique part of these sour candy chocolate chip cookies is that they are not just a mash up of chocolate chips and some sour gummies. No, these cookies actually have brightly colored (red and green) chips inside of each cookie.
On top of that, are some sprinkles of blue gummy candy, just like a sour patch kid, which are also added throughout each cookie. So you get a bite of sweet and sour at the same time!
